BREAKING NEWS: CBC reports rumours that Conservatives might back down on their proposed vouching ban (but the devil will be in the details, as the Conservatives usually gie with one hand and take away with the other). Seems to be a ploy to give back a little to make issue go away, but dont be fooled. THE 2 provisions they MOST want to keep are: 1) Being the ONLY people who get to chose the Poll Supervisors for each and every poll without exception. That is where they will directly interfere and challenge your right to vote. 2) Crushing the Chief Electoral Officer and his capacity to investigate. Most of the Unfair Elections Act is crap... and it needs MUCH more upheaval than that.
