BREAKING NEWS: EFCC MARKS ILL GOTTEN PROPERTIES OF SHETIMA,COMMISIONERS Following ongoing investigations, the anti corruption agency(EFCC) has compiled list of multi billion naira properties illegally acquired by Gov Shetima and his commissioners. EFCC had earlier interrogated some top officials of Shetima administration with some of them with billions of naira in their accounts in various banks. The properties already listed by the Commission are located in choice areas of maiduguri Asokoro and maitama areas of Abuja. Ten properties with total value of 9.5billion naira were traced to the governor while another twelve properties valued at 17.6billion were linked with his commissioners. Checks showed that properties in maitama and asokoro were even visited by operatives of the anti corruption agency last week. A source within the commission stated that a prima facie case of high level corruption running into a not 45 billion naira has been established against Gov Shetima and his commissioners. But immunity covers him now. We will pick his commissioners soon.We will wait for the Governor to conclude his tenure ,the official confided. Insiders within Government House revealed that the EFCC investigation was the main reason why he dissolved his cabinet few weeks ago.
