BREAKING NEWS #FROM THE JUBILEE CENTRE#JubileeCoalition senators have officially withdrawn from proposed constitution amendment referendum. Statement by Kindiki: I would like to announce to Kenyans that the jubilee coalition senators have forthwith withdrawn any form of support for the proposal to have a national referendum to amend the constitution on any matter for now. Its is unfortunate that the referendum matter which was initially a noble idea to strengthen devolution has been hijacked by parochial,partisan and divisive interests that are not in the national good. However the jubilee coalition senators would like to assure kenyans that we remain firmly and resolutely committed to our constitution mandate to defend and protect devolution and country governments. Further communication will be issued after the jubilee coalition parliamentary group meeting which will be held on Tuesday next week 20th August 2013.
