**BREAKING NEWS** JUST RECEIVED FROM THE DES MOINES COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT- On November 12, 2014, at 02:04 AM, deputies from the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 300 block of Blaine Street in Mediapolis, Iowa, for a motor vehicle burglary in progress. Deputies located a male matching the description of the suspect of a motor vehicle burglary in the 200 block of Cedar Street, Mediapolis. This individual was identified as Joshua Michael Melton, age 27, Mediapolis, Iowa. Through the investigation a search warrant was executed at 324 Cedar Street, Mediapolis. Melton was placed under arrest for Possession of Burglar Tools and Burglary Third Degree for the motor vehicle burglary that occurred on February 17, 2014, at 410 Park Street, Mediapolis, Iowa. -INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING. -SUBJECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
