BREAKING NEWS! RATHLIN ENERGY have now applied for a TWO YEAR extension to their Planning Application for Crawberry Hill, East Yorks. The following is an extract from as leaked letter from Rathlin to East Riding Councillors & the Crawberry Hill Community Liaison Group: Following unexpected delays to our work, we will be making an application to East Riding of Yorkshire Council to extend our Crawberry Hill planning application for a further 24 months. ....... The unforeseen requirement for the Environment Agency permits, combined with ongoing access problems caused by the protestors, has delayed us to such an extent that a planning extension request is now inevitable. Had it not been for these unanticipated matters, we would in all likelihood have completed our latest phase of operations by now. This is a victory for the camp! We now have evidence of our peaceful actions causing an actual delay in fracking operations! This is proof to the success of taking Direct Action against fracking companies. It really does work! However, the battle isnt over. Rathlin will want to come back and meanwhile protectors must stay to hold the fort and supporters are still needed to help them. Please take time to visit the camp.
