She is President of the Chicago Teachers union and has been fighting Bruce Rauner to prevent (unsuccessfully) the building of CHARTER SCHOOLS in Chicago for years...all to the detriment of minority students. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is toast and he knows it...he would need the financial help of Republican GOVERNOR BRUCE RAUNER if he even dreams of getting re-elected. SURPRISE SURPRISE! The Chicago Teachers union WASTED millions trying to defeat Bruce Rauner in the Republican Primary (unsuccessfully) ...and has spent millions trying to defeat him in his race against Democrat Governor Pat Quinn.
