BREAKING NEWS>...!!!! The Court of Appeal of Tanzania halts crossing of year. It has suspended the crossing of the year to 2015 until all parties agrees that they are ready for 2015. This is after UKAWA moved to court to block Tanzanians from crossing the year. While agreeing the need to cross the year, The Court of Appeal has said that all parties must be given enough time to prepare to cross the year, given that. the parents are returning their Children to school after spending all monies on Christmas and that also they were not consulted on the the gazetting the 1 st of January as a holiday. The judge also noted that suspension of crossing the year will also give TUCTA time to negotiate with teachers.They threatened Mass action if their demands were not met. J. Mtatiro.
