BREAKING THE CURSES OF LIFE (Part 3) (Dealing with Delay) Proverbs 13:12- Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life. There are 3 kinds of delay that a person can experience in life, namely: 1. Divine Delay 2. Satanic Delay 3. Delay caused by self due to personal mistakes. Divine delay is usually allowed by God for a reason and purpose but for the glory of God to be revealed at the end, just as in the case of Lazarus in the book of John chapter 11. Divine delay can also be allowed in our lives to save us from danger or the plans of the enemy. While satanic delay is caused and sponsored by the devil and his cohorts. Miracles, breakthrough, destiny and even prayers can be delayed by the forces of darkness just to wear out a believer and get him or her frustrated. 6 yrs ago, while sitting in a shop, and then a lady walked in, then suddenly the spirit of God ministered to me and said that the enemy is delaying her marriage, and I approached her, though not that same day and asked her and she confirmed that I was the third person telling her she is experiencing marital delay. Whats my point? Satanic delay at work! Jabez experienced delay in progress in life, and the root cause of his problem was his name.
