BREAKING: The Bank of Queensland has announced it will close down its Warwick branch at the end of October. Reasons cited are the health of owner-manager Gary Kelly who BOQ says wants to step back, and an inability to find someone suitable to purchase the franchise. A number of BOQ branches are run on a franchisee basis, unlike the major banks. BOQ says customer accounts will predominantly be transferred to the Rangeville branch in Toowoomba.
