BRIEF SATURDAY REMINDER. Don’t allow your heart to become sterile. Cultivate it with love, compassion, gentleness and understanding. Respected brothers and sisters here comes the month of Ramadan, the month of mercy, the month of the Quran ,take your time to get closer to your maker rather than depleting your time getting close to people through Facebook, whatsapp and all other forms of chatting . Dear brothers and sisters its good to mend ties and kinship even through this forms of chatting, but we need to ask ourselves ARE WE REALLY TRYING TO MEND TIES AND KINSHIP WITH OUR FAMILIES OR ARE WE JUST FLIRTING? Dear brothers and sisters the prophet SAW although he is the most generous of us and in goodness but he used to be more strict in generosity and goodness in the month of Ramadan. This is the month of the Quran ,we have to be dedicated to it ,for it is through the Quran that we achieve the utmost comfort and assurance of the heart because Allah says (Ala bizikrillahi tadmainnul quluub) (indeed with the remembrance of Allah (Quran, tasbih) there is the assurance of the heart ). My dear brothers and sisters fear Allah, be conscious of Him, if we do not fear Allah in this month in which month do we expect to fear Him. Brothers and sisters in Islam lets be generous and good to others, lets show them our hidden character, for many times you will find people not quite pious and good in the outside but if we try to interact with them and help them to extract their hidden Pearl and jewels Wallahi we will be shocked, So lets try to be good to anyone whether Muslim or non Muslim , lets try our best because we are all humans and all of us erred but the winner is the one who recognise the door of repentance after he erred and the one who forgive and embrace those who erred him. May Allah SWT forgive our shortcomings, help us to eradicate our bad habits, May Allah make the Quran a means of our comfort in this month and all other months, May He elevate our status and grant us high rank in paradise.
