BRIEF SUCCESS STORY This is one of many canal construction project im implementing in Dolow Somalia alongside World Vision & WFP, The Canal which is 2kms From Dolow town,it has 200 participants working on it ( 49 female & 151 male) from nearby Kabasa IDP. The length of the canal is1200m & with 2m width,which started pumping water to 12 Hectares land, here the beneficiaries started planting Maize,Tomatoes,Salad,Union,Hot Pepper & Watermelon as the farm had 300 lemon trees initially. The picture you can see (me in blue shirt ) was taken when we received UN high delegates from Geneva on 26 July 2014 as who came to assess the level of drought.
