BRIEF TEACHINGS 2) Hope in Christ, Not in The World Pt 2 - In All things, Hope is only in Jesus Christ - in our poverty we have hope in Christ in our wealth we have hope in Christ in our despair we have hope in Christ, in our Joy we have hope in Christ. If we are single our hope is only in Jesus Christ, if we are married our hope is in Jesus, if we have children our hope is in Jesus Christ, if we live in a broken down home our hope is in Christ of we live in a mansion our hope is in Jesus Christ, if we are out of work our open is in Christ, if we have a million dollar business our hope is in Jesus Christ. Do not set you eyes on the things of the world for that all shall pass away (2 Peter 3:10-13), all that you hear and see all things will pass away and be burnt up (2 Peter 3:11)! So then why put you hope in the things of this world for they all will come to a end as they shall be ashes for we will receive a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 2:13, Rev 21:1) ? And for people why put your hope in them when the wicked (most of the world) will also be destroyed in the lake of fire (Matthew 13:41-42)? And for the slight few that enter through the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13-14), (Eternal Life) they shall be in heaven with God our Father and his son Jesus Christ (Matthew 13:43). For nothing is God but God himself and no one is God but God himself. For what do you gain if you gain the whole world, by being popular, having friends,, having good job with money, and well liked if you lose your own soul (Matthew 16:26). We are only on this earth a very short time, but eternity is forever. HOPE IS FOUND IN JESUS AND NO OTHER!!
