BRING YOUR REDEEMABLE CANS AND BOTTLES (glass, plastic, metal) to the Monroe Farmers Market (Fridays 3-6pm) now through October 24th and support Cans for Connor. Cans for Connor is a local environmental service project that will help support Connors international environmental service project along the banks of The Danube River in the Black Forest of Germany. Mass logging and a recent cyclone have annihilated the Forest, making it only a fraction of its original size. Connor, along with his fellow delegates, will be responsible for planting new trees in the Black Forest and clearing the riverbanks along the Danube of brush and debris next summer 2015. Connors goal is to pay his way to Europe. Come meet and talk with Connor and learn how becoming a Student Ambassador is helping him change the world. We look forward to seeing you there!
