BRITAIN FIRST Dear John, Britain First tried to hold its annual Conference at a venue in Kent today but had our meeting closed down by the police who threatened our activists with arrest! First they deliberately cut the power in our Conference room (that we paid for and signed a contract for) and then they ordered us to disband the meeting or else. We were unable to show any media displays and instead had to cut the agenda in half. Deputy Leader Jayda Fransen even got an official police caution for opposing this outrageous breach of our democratic rights. This is the latest in a long catalogue of direct sabotage of our activities by Kent police who seem to think they can choose and pick who is allowed to enjoy democratic freedom of speech. The Britain First leadership is holding an emergency meeting with our solicitors this coming week to discuss ways to enforce our democratic rights and stop the police and local councils walking all over us. We need to urgently prepare a legal fighting fund as the illegal infringements on our democratic rights are becoming severe and more regular. We are a legal political party, but we are having our mail addresses shut down, our website attacked and taken offline, our leaflets are refused in elections, the police are closing down our meetings and driving us off the streets - it is going to far now.
