*****BROWNIE UPDATE***** After much testing and a CT scan our Brownie girl had her surgery!!! She was diagnosed with a Sialocele and the surgical protocol was to completely remove her Mandibular and Sublingual glands. The wonderful Dr. Kelci McKeirnan and staff at Animal Emergency and Specialty in Kirkland, WA performed the 6 HOUR (Yes, 6 HOUR) surgery on Brownie. This was an extremely grueling and tetius surgery for both Dr McKeirnan and Brownie, but the end result was well worth it!!! Brownie came through the surgery like a champ and her recovery has been really smooth so far, but as a precaution she remains hospitalized for close monitoring. Its not too late to help Brownie or her mounting bill, every little bit helps and we can not do this alone, we are always in need of your support to help these precious bullies as they deserve to be healthy and happy.
