BSL Why BSL needs to end - This poor dejected dog is a staffie called Big Betty, she has never bitten anyone, seized by police from a shelter as a pit bull type she has been placed on the register of exempted dogs and must now wear a muzzle at all times when outside the house. Breed Specific Legislation has been shown as ineffective in that it does not prevent dog attacks/bites, Betty has done nothing wrong, BSL punishes innocent dogs like her simply because of how they look.
