Your role could either focus on applied research or on the technical aspects of medium-to-large IT and communications engineering projects or programmes. Get involved in gathering and analysing requirements, developing high level solutions, selecting network equipment, configuring a wide range of devices and testing to ensure a robust solution is deployed into one of BTs many networks across the globe. Youll need to be someone whos happy to be responsible for a number of different technical requirements and projects at the same time. You’ll use design and development skills, plus your knowledge of IP networks, protocols and network components to produce the optimum solutions.
