Over two years, youll contribute to some pretty exciting projects. Youll get exposure to advanced technologies. And youll have the chance to work alongside some of the best technical people in the industry. There are lots of different roles and areas you could potentially gain experience in. You’ll be given all the technical training you need to become a genuine expert in your field. £18bn £544m Network Engineering Ipswich, Swindon Belfast Youll work alongside specialists in communications, electronics and information technology. Your role could either focus on applied research or on the technical aspects of medium-to-large IT and communications engineering projects or programmes. Get involved in gathering and analysing requirements, developing high level solutions, selecting network equipment, configuring a wide range of devices and testing to ensure a robust solution is deployed into one of BTs many networks across the globe. Youll need to be someone whos happy to be responsible for a number of different technical requirements and projects at the same time. You’ll use design and development skills, plus your knowledge of IP networks, protocols and network components to produce the optimum solutions. Entry Requirements In addition to a demonstrable passion for technology, a strong technical background and a degree or postgraduate qualification in computer science, electronics, electronic engineering, maths, physics or an IT-related subject is also required.
