BTW: I hate Facebook. Communicating with people about anything more than the bare basics is most often futile. Its on par with trying to talk to someone on the other side of a packed nightclub. You have to simplify what youre saying down to a point where there is no point and even then the message can get distorted in so many ways (at worst you just nod your head and hope they dont realise you havent got a clue what they are on about). Unfortunately, face to face communication is not possible with many of my Facebook friends (and paradoxically, I am often quite antisocial anyway) but like a noisy nightclub, you can still communicate well with people you already know very well. Its the people you wish you knew better that are the real frustration. Thats when you are most likely to try and read between the lines to figure out what they mean, want, feel etc even when they are just being 100% genuine... I also hate Facebook because of my capacity talk a lot of crap and the outlet it provides. (At least this post has wasted a lot of my time on here that I might have otherwise wasted more while actually trying to communicate with people)
