BUILDING INDEPENDENCE PROJECT A new and exciting collaboration between three Raleigh organizations is underway to meet a very important and specific need: providing affordable housing for low income Wake County residents with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. On July 20 at 4:00 p.m. a meeting will take place at Grace Lutheran Church on Six Forks Road, where interested individuals and groups can learn more about how to get involved in this project that many hope will serve as a state and national model.
