BULLS EYE HIT! Should Hausa/Fulani be held collectively accountable for the Boko Harams indiscriminate violence against innocent people? Should declaring northerners guilty by association legally, logically, rationally, morally and sensibly defensible? If guilty by association is a valid weapon of revenge, why didnt the United States declare war against Saudi Arabia on account of the fact that 19 of the 9/11 suicide hijackers that rammed planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre were Saudi citizens? Why didnt the US declare automatic war against Muslim countries because the terrorists happen to be Muslims? The United States could not have done so because you cannot punish Muslims collectively for the atrocities of misguided and benighted members of a lunatic fringe from the mainstream Islam. I hate Boko Haram with more ferocious passion than Femi Fani Kayode probably does and, therefore, I deprecate any attempt by him or any other demagogue of his ilk to hold me accountable for the criminal and barbarous atrocities of the Boko Haram terrorists who have virtually destroyed the northern economy and disrupted its social life. The Boko Haram declaration of a caliphate is an absurdity because the people in those areas dont like them and you cannot rule the people with an anarchic agenda or against their will. Femi Fani Kayodes creative solution to the Boko Haram menace is that Nigeria should break-up! I am deeply bothered by how a former Minister in this country could go this low by playing to the gallery, inciting Nigerians against each other. Is Boko Haram worth destroying Nigerias unity?
