BURKINA FASO: THE TRUE REVOLUTIONARY SPIRIT OF THOMAS SANKARA LIVES ON Then a military driven coup with a purpose for true CHANGE within society, cut short by the neo-colonialist and their agent, Blaise Compaore, and now a rebirth by the people, THE YOUTHS. And to all Nigerian youths, your country needs you like never before. Those of us over 50 years old, saw a peaceful and prosperous country in the 1970s and up to the mid-1980s. We have been trying hard to educate the youths that Nigeria has more than enough potentials to be a great country, but they have decided to take to sycophancy, buttlicking, praise singing, crumbs chasing, etc for and from their corrupt, fraudulent, greedy, selfish and wicked oppressors who call themselves leaders (rulers), who dot all the political parties and are the movers and shakers, and in some cases, the owners of the political parties. I still stand by my position that, all those who have at one time or the other played any remote part in getting us to this present state of hopelessness, and by implication being part of the problem, CAN NEVER BE PART OF THE SOLUTION, if we are to get out of this doldrum we are in. WE NEED TOTAL CLEANSING AND OVERHAUL OF THE SYSTEM. We can continue to beat around the bush for as much as we want, but we are just dancing round the same circle of stagnation; underdevelopment; looting; suppression; oppression; mediocrity; nepotism; religious, tribal, ethnic and regional bigotry; failing institutions; etc. But in all this despair, something inside me so strong tells me that, Nigeria will rise from the arches and take her rightful place in comity of nations. WHERE ARE THE TRULY REVOLUTIONARY MINDED YOUTHS WHO ARE INDEPENDENT OF THIS GOOD FOR NOTHING POLITICAL CLASS? YOU ARE THE CHANGE AGENTS NIGERIA IS WAITING FOR. ARISE FROM YOUR SLUMBER.
