BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE: EDEN VALLEY Message Issued: 12:50 21/01/2014 CFS advises that a large fire has occurred, between TRURO and EDEN VALLEY in the BAROSSA VALLEY, Fire conditions have eased and the forward rate of spread has been halted. There is not an imminent threat to life or property. Those living in, or travelling through the following areas: Truro, Keyneton, Graetztown, Towitta, Moculta, Eden Valley, Sanderston, and surrounding areas should remain vigilant, and know what to do if the situation changes. Fire crews are still working in the area, so caution is advised on roadways at all times. Report any unattended active fires to 000. More updates will be provided if the situation changes. Although the threat has reduced, be aware that some risks are still present. There may be smoke in the area. Visibility may be reduced and there may be falling trees. Check your property for any fires and embers - particularly in roof spaces, under decks, raised floors and in gutters.
