BUYERS BEWARE! !!! M y 8 yr old daughter purchased 2 splat toys from Pure Fun Toys this afternoon at the Opry Mills Mall for herself and her brother. She used the last few dollars she had on her gift card for Christmas. these are those little splat toys that you throw on the floor and they splat and then bounce back to a ball shape. after the fifth or sixth time my son splatted his ball on the ground it busted and water went everywhere. I went back to the booth and the gentleman running the booth gave my son a replacement one. We literally took 10 steps away from the booth and my daughters busted as well. mind you I did refuse my receipt but I was unaware of the policy because I did not get a receipt and there is no sign anywhere that says no refunds at the booth, but apparently they do not do refunds only exchanges. Then I requested a receipt to see the policy. He at first told me no I couldnt see the policy because I refused my receipt but then said yes because I said I wanted to see their policy in writing. The receipt does state that they do not do refunds only exchanges and it also states that you cannot use the toys in the mall. Even though the man running the booth seen my children splatting them on the floor, which is what they do to demonstrate, did not say they couldnt do it. I spoke with the owner because I was very upset and he was just as much of a jerk as the gentleman running the booth. I just want everyone to know do not pay 10 to 12 dollars for these little junk toys for them just to bust within 2 minutes and have upset children like mine! also let me state that the owner that I talked to on the phone said that you cant do an exchange if the product has been opened, so youre basically screwed if it breaks which is apparently very easy to do because my 5 year old and my 8 year old both broke them within 2 minutes. let me also say that I am very aware that I did refuse the receipt and did not read a policy due to that fact but Im only warning everyone else not to purchase them because they are easily breakable and its a waste of money. I am upset and I do have buyers remorse but thats something Ill just have to deal with on my own I just dont want anyone else to make the same mistake that we did hence buyer beware!
