BVD--Bird Voyeurism Disorder, a new psychological abnormality first defined on FB by friends of Kay Moser. This disorder involves birds engaging in "inappropriate surveillance" of other birds. Not to be confused with "bird watching," which involves people engaging in appropriate (we hope!) surveillance of birds. The catalyst for the discovery of this disorder occurred when the following was posted by Kay Moser, Ph.D. on her Timeline and her FB friends began extensive research into the matter: "Mercy! Is there no end to the scandal in the world? Two male cardinals are fighting over who gets to watch a female bathe in the birdbath right outside my window. Gentlemen, please! How am I to write in the midst of such debased behavior?"
