BY Elly Omondi Odhiambo 6 hrs I have watched this footage of people behaving like South Africas intolerant firebrand Julius Malema. The person being forcefully ejected here is the ODM Party Director of Elections, Mr.Langat. Apparently he said that the ODM patriarch Raila Amolo Odinga should call it a day in politics. That to me is an opinion however twisted it may seem to some people. In fact it shows that Langat has a good sense of humour. In politics, a good sense of humour is a plus. I will not join the chorus of condemning ODM as a party. I am not a member and will never be of any political party that purport to be the big 3 or 4 or even 5. When we see mostly young jobless people fighting supremacy battles on behalf of party officials and the elite groups in all the political parties, then you think to yourself something needs to be done. I think we have seen what has happened in Burkina Faso in the last two days. Many youth are angry and revolting openly in disgust at what politicians are doing throwing daggers at each other during the day but clubbing together in exclusive drinking hubs. There is a Class War going on no matter how much we try to ignore this observation about the economy vis-a-vis politics. In conclusion, my question is for those of you who speak dholuo like myself, what did you hear Nominated MP Oburu Odinga say in this clip. Let me just pretend my ears are blocked. I am not shocked any more at the knee-jerk events in our political space. If its not Moses Kuria, then Mike Mbuvi flies like a fat pig full of aspirin and when that doesnt happen then you see another man slapping a fan atop his limousine on the motorcade. Finally those say that Langat is a political mole or turncoat working on behalf of their opponents, why cant they also plant moles in the rival parties? That is the essence of Machiavellian cannibalism.
