Baba gave Mehera the order to not write letters; Meheru usually did this for her. After Mehera was united with Baba we found lots of papers with my name written in Meheras hand on the stand by the foot of her bed. Below, next to her own signature, is my name in her hand. There were several notes she wrote to remind her of things that came to her in the night so she would remember the next day. When I was sent to Bindra House for work in Poona, there would be notes for Naja to prepare me food to eat on the way, a book she wanted to send with me to read, or items to bring to Gaimai and family. She always reminded me to remain aloof of the Rajneesh Ashram and his followers, and always told me to not wear anything of orange color in my clothing so I would not be mistaken for a follower (Now the place is called Osho, I think). And my favorite was the collection of Baba pins she would choose from for me to wear while there. All these details were about personal comfort (food), sharing love (sending things to Bindra House) and personal safety (no orange clothing and a nice Baba button she chose for me). Mehera was 100% Babas and an example to those of us who had the privilege of knowing her that He IS the Highest of the High...and the ...Only One worthy of Worship! Jai Meher Baba
