Babudom and Cost to Country - TopicsExpress

Babudom and Cost to Country : --------------------------------------------- This lot was created by the British to keep the common man subservient and forever under the shackles of the state. After 66 years of independence has not cured this malaise, actively encouraged as it is by our equally incompetent political class. In other words this lot lives like a king size and enjoy the power, authority to up-most to fulfill their personal goal with the money of tax payers. Perhaps what we need now is a larger social audit of our babudom - not just to affix blame, but, equally importantly, to identify and reward praiseworthy performance, using the cost to country rubric. The only problem is that the babus audit would be run by - who else? - Babus. With the result that it might end up costing the country too much to figure out just how much our babus are costing the country. First question comes – can Indian afford babus ? Modi Jee’s government should take some corrective actions for the sake of betterment of our country and people. We want solutions, and not to get mired in history of how wrong we were some n years ago. 1) Out-source most of the noncore sectors services to private sector, in a transparent manner 2) Enforce performance related incentive scheme for babus. 3) Make performance based salary and include incentive to earn a good life without corrupt ways – similar line of private sectors. 4) Abolish all so called bureaucratic facilities, luxury and give the amount as allowance to babus and let them avail as per their suitability (This amount should be counted in CTC). 5) Stop interference of politicians on bureaucrats and stop frequent transfer of jobs
