Baby Jonathan is home! we have dr apts back at Seattle Childrens Hosp and at his pediatricians Mon Tue and Wed but we get to settle in for the weekend. Grandma Darlene and Daddy cleaned the house and shampooed the carpet and had pizza for us when we got home. The hosp released us at 2:30 but by the time we got all the stuff, home medical supplies and machines loaded we did not leave until about 3:30 and got home at 6 due to Fri nite rush hour traffic. My daughter was amazing we placed babys cars seat behind me put Brandi in the middle back seat by Jonathan and then loaded his portable oxygen tank, nasal suction machine, gastric tube feeding machine and his heart and oxygen monitor machine beside her. Like a pro Brandi hooked up baby to the heart and oxygen level monitor turned it on and got it going perfectly. Then because she knew the drive was going to be a long one Bran hooked up his feeding machine and loaded it with her milk. Part way home babys oxygen levels dipped and his nose stents filled with mucus so Bran whipped out the suction machine and suctioned baby until he was comfortable and he slept the rest of the ride home. All I can say is Wow!! In What an amazing mommy Jonathan has!! in the meantime nervous grandma is Roxie with her precious cargo is driving in Seattle fri nite rush hour bumper to bumper traffic in the dark in the pouring down rain trying to brake gently so bran doesnt jam the suction tube up babys nose. What an adventure we have had and it will continue as we watch our sweet baby grow into the best little Jonathan he can be :-) thanks to everyone for their love and support and prayers it meant the world to all of us.
