Baby Whale Plays With Humans Watch this wonderful video of 13-year-old Eric’s encounter with a wild baby whale in Magdalena Bay. Coming across whales in the area is an example of a success story by the international community. By and large the vast majority of whales around the world are now protected and their numbers are coming back. Eric’s father, Sven Lindblad, is an OceanElders member alongside yours truly and the likes of Dr Sylvia Earle, Ted Turner and Jean-Michel Cousteau. The OceanElders are trying to get Norway and Japan to follow the example of the rest of the world and promote the conservation of whales. However, we all need to be vigilant that pressure is not put on to reverse this growing trend, so whales can continue to thrive and children in the future can enjoy seeing these magnificent creatures too. vimeo/66588628
