Baby, its cold outside . . . and for pets who live outside, it - TopicsExpress

Baby, its cold outside . . . and for pets who live outside, it can be difficult for them to make it through those long cold days and nights even when they are accustomed to living outdoors. Everyone likes to be comfortable and pets are no different. That is why Country K-9 Rescue is sponsoring a bedding drive to help our furry friends who live outside stay a little more comfortable this winter with some nice straw bedding from Wilson County Co op. Straw bedding will insulate their houses and surroundings making their environment warmer and drier for a happier, healthier pet. Helpers from all around our community will be out and about Wilson County on Saturday, December 13th providing straw bedding to families who have outside pets. If you or someone you know has a pet who could use some bedding for the long, cold winter ahead, please be sure stop by one of the locations below and bring home a gift of comfort that will be most appreciated by any pet. You can find these helpers at the following locations between the hours of 10am to 2pm or until the straw is gone: In Lebanon at Dr. Perry Harmons Tennessee Veterinary Care located at 105 West End Heights and in Watertown at the ballpark right by the community center. If you would like to support this effort, donations can be made at: Country K-9 Rescue, 116 Rocky Road, Lebanon, TN 37087. Also, if you have a good, serviceable, unoccupied dog house, we will be happy to accept your donation of it at any of the above locations. You can be assured that we will distribute your gift to a dog who will be grateful to receive it.
