Baby showers... When growing up I used to think baby shower parties were parties where the pregnant women were given baths...like their stomachs were washed n oiled...(I have no idea why I thought that, maybe it was just the namebaby shower..dumb, I know...but to my defence.. I was very young).... now, I attended my little cousins baby shower last night( Boikanyo April)... when we got there, my friends and I, we found that all the females were locked inside the house n the guys out in the cold..why the segregation?..well, apparently thats when the ladies discuss the processes that lead to the expecting lady getting pregnant. ..(my question is...why are the guys locked outside?.. I believe we can help in answering that question too!... I mean we take part in that process too..)... the party was a blast though... n the food was just the best..(I remember the beef n chakalaka.. but the rest I dont... I think it was water or soft porridge or something..)... dont ask if there were hot girls there...I wont answer that!... ooh.. I forgot to buy a present for the baby...but how do we know how big the baby is going to be when it comes?..what size of clothes to buy?.. Ill buy when the baby is here.. wa utlwa Boikanyo April..n hoping for a bridal shower soon....now, ke kopa gore all the ladies wholl be having baby showers. ..Please invite me!
