Baby update - 21wk appointment today. Mommy is up 10lbs since our last appointment (which was 4wks ago). She says its the babies, but we know its all of the fatty goodness that she consumed over the holidays. Mommy is measuring as though she is 26wks pregnant with a singleton (one baby). Baby a had a heart rate of 158 & baby b had a heart rate of 160. Our doctor answered lots of mommys questions. He also is now telling her that we are now categorized as high risk simply because two babies can put a lot of stress on her body and the increased risk of us coming early. She also was informed she cant run any more until after were born (please pray for her sanity). We are growing as we should and all of our organs look great. We are even sharing the placenta which is separated by a membrane so we are getting equal levels of nutrients. Mommy feels us moving repeatedly throughout the day and our big brothers have even felt us as well when mommy puts their hand on her tummy. Mommy, daddy and our big brothers get to see more pictures of us on the 26th when there will be another ultrasound to make sure we are still growing as we should. We might need help entering the world but that depends on our positions as we continue to develop. After our next appointment mommy will be seeing her doctor every 2wks. We still are due May 23 but our doctor expects that we will come closer to April 23 if we are willing to wait that long for our grand entrance. Positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated as we continue through this wonderfully exciting journey. PS mommy and daddy have not asked our doctor about our genders. Hehehe
