Back from London. We saw a team of professionals who will play a role in Moms surgery if it happens. Little bit of discouraging news from her blood work results...certain levels are low...we were not told what was low but we can assume they are talking platelets...they would like another blood draw on the 20th (hooray for PICC lines!!) hoping for improvement, if improvement is not noted, the surgery will have to be delayed. As frustrated as we are with the results, we managed to miss the snow, had a nice breakfast with my Aunt and Uncle, was given a FABULOUS pair of boots and had two happy pups excited to see us when we got back. Guess there is always something to smile about, even when you feel like, well, not smiling!!
