Back from Massachusetts General in Boston. My day went very good. I had the Nurse Practitioner, Mandy in the NF clinic. She is very good and is right on top of things. At this point she does not think that my pain is from any on particular NF tumor. It appears at this time my pain is from post surgery inflammation under my scalp.This can take months to a year to go away, if it does. So in the mean time she has me on Tramadol. It works good for in inflammation type of pain issues. She is also referring me over to the Pain Clinic so they will be familiar with me and my issues if I should need them in the future. She will be calling me in about a week to see how the medication is working. She also set up a follow up appointment for one month from now. I was very impressed by her exam of me and the outcome from today.
