Back from an awesome day with my family on my mountain. Windrock mountain is a place that I have many memories of since we grew up there. We moved away as kids (just to oak ridge) but we went back often to visit and ride around on our mountain. When I first saw the parking lot of Coal Creek OHV, (when it first opened), I cried. That is the spot where my grandparents house sat, where we played and where we walked to church. But now, I get to go to the mountain with my family and make new memories, which is pretty awesome. So mamaw and papaw, I think of you often, but more so on days like today. Thank you so much for raising your family in Windrock. I hope we can give our girls as many amazing memories as I have of you both and the beautiful area you called home.
