Back from representing Toronto @ the International Portuguese Music Awards & I am still blown away at the entire production. I have no words to express how much I appreciate the 5 star treatment you gave us, the attention to detail, the INCREDIBLE crew & personnel & all the efforts put in place to make sure we were all at our best. This is by far & away the best weekend I have had in a LONG TIME! The band was SICK SICK SICK - all great musicians but also super friendly, humble & gentle peeps. Thats you - Al DaSilva, Tony Lobo, Nelson Moreira, Robert Lima, Stephanie Silva, Michelle Romeiro Medeiros & Mario Brum. I was proud of our culture seeing all of the talent it has, proud to see the community supporting the efforts of the organizers Floriano Cabral, Jose Xavier David Saraiva & Gary Sebastiao, as well as the community supporting the artists. They deserve to be supported always regardless of music style or preference - ITS OUR OWN PEOPLE. I was in GUITAR HEAVEN this weekend, with Nuno Bettencourt, Al DaSilva, Jordan Ferreira & Sergio Anastacio all weekend, holy SNAP I couldnt stop doing pick slides, channeled my inner Paul Stanley!!! LOL THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU everyone, miss you all already. I REALLY NEED TO GO DO SOME SOLO SHOWS THERE.....
