Back from the jungles and rainforests of Borneo on Sun. Exhausted! Never known anywhere so hot and humid. Def not a hol for softies. Slept on the floor of a traditional longhouse amongst the chickens etc, tramped through the rainforests and got bitten y a leech on the stomach - lots of blood, in and out of longboats on jungle rivers ........ But so worth it, saw orang utans properly in the wild deep in the rainforests of the Danum Valley, Pygmy elephants bathing in a jungle river plus a little family with two babes, a flying squirrel in full flight on a rain soaked night, had tea with a lovely Muslim peasant farming family at their mountain village home and lots lots more ...... Xx
