Back home after an Intense 3 days of attending the International Summer Camp Norway, Krav Maga. Almost died on Wednesday climbing what the Norwegian call a hill but what Dutch people would consider a Mountain! Then had a rollercoaster Thursday with the girls, with lots of feelings and emotions: Fun, exhaustion, hunger, annoyance, stress, love, happiness, relief but above all faith and trust. Oh...man! I know how tricky the obstacle course can be when it comes to stressing the girls out and yes.... I WILL put you under stress. However the girls believed in us and trusted us! And the reward, the happy faces, the tears of relieve and the big hugs afterwards, made it all so worth it! This year I was able to bring Wendy Dorrestijn with me and she gave some of the women a one on one Stress Inoculation Training on Friday where Freddy and I got to assist her as her SIT-Fighters ;-)! Compliments to Freddy! He was awesome :-) In short thanks to Krav Maga and my work as an instructor for the KMG Women Division, I get a chance to make a difference and every time it happens, it feels awesome. Not the-making-the-difference-part, because it takes 2 to tango, but the love and trust I get from the women to do so, thats the awesome part! Thanks you all for making this again a memorable event for me! XOXO
