Back home yesterday from an amazing trip to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, what a fabulous experience, gutted that I had to decend 700 meters from the summit due to blacking out with the lack of oxygen at 5200 meters (17000 feet) without a doubt the most menatally challeging experience of my life, what i did learn was the value of team work and I feel very lucky to have shared the experience with 13 other great people including my lovely wife, only 8 out of the 14 of us reached the summit and those of us who didnt gave everything we had and more, So proud of everyone who took part and hounored to be part of the team. I will return and conqor the mountain again in a couple of years time hopefully. whats important is that the amout we have raised for our charities continues to rise and we are sitting around £82.5K so far
