Back in April 2011, I drove past a young homeless man in his late 20s, early 30s. And The Lord had put it on my heart to go back to him and help him in some way. So, I tucked a $20 bill inside the pages of a Bible in Romans 8, turned around and parked about a hundred feet away from him. I walked up to the man, and told him that Id gotten him a gift. His face lit up, but soon turned to disappointment when he realized it was only a Bible. Two days ago, I received an e-mail. It reads: Bryan, Ive been trying to contact you for a while now. My name is Jeff Rolands. A few years ago you ran into me panhandling on 112th in Everett. You gave me a bible with some cash inside. That gift has done exactly what youd hoped it would. I remember that day very well and the gentle loving approach you had in praying with me as you passed the gift of life to me. I got your information from the inside cover of the bible, and have been trying to reach you to let you know that since meeting you and experiencing god I have made a complete turn-around. I got clean off of heroin and pills and got a full time job while going to school and becoming involved in many groups at my church in Spokane. You are one inspirational man I hope to hear from you again. Thank you for changing my life. -Jeff
