Back in August 2011, a lady came to our Main and only store at the time, looking for a mattress, she had a young boy with her of about 20-21 years old, he asked Dave which was the manager of the store, if the store was hiring, Dave asked the boy the usual questions and told him Ill come back with you later, well, Dave called him that same day to let him know that he was hired for the Warehouse/Delivery position. He immediately started learning how to assemble and deliver. He did it so well, he stayed with the store from August 2011 until February 7th 2013 (when the company was sold) and the new owners re-hired him, on his own words it was a difficult time, because the new owners were very demanding on efficiency and timing. He was the only one that stayed in the department after several others were hired and fired several times due to the company looking to have the best delivery team due to its growing and expansion plans. Since then he is been perfecting his trade to become the best on his department and the ONE that has the more experience on being polite to customers, extremely efficient, great timing on delivering to homes (never doing late deliveries any more), magnificent assembling furniture, very careful in many ways, in a few words he has become a Professional Delivery Person. Here at Value Furniture, we appreciate him a lot and we depend on him so much. Every time we hire someone, we assign the new person to him, so the new one can learn from the BEST, he learns directly from Elder Pineda, Our Guy. Thank you Elder for staying with us all this time!
