Back in Chennai after a boisterous weekend trip to Mysore, Hassan and Chikmagalur…. Hufff, I am extremely tired and fatigued after driving almost 2000 kms in a span of 4 days, yet the experience was awe-inspiring… Had a miserable start to the trip with rain playing spoilsport on Wednesday and I almost lost hope on reaching my destination given the amount of trouble that we encountered on our way.. Lighting was pathetic, road was not in a good shape, too many take diversions (remembered Thirumalai) and on top of it was raining cats and dogs…. Many cars/SUVs were left stranded in the high way and yet I took the risk and reached Indra Nagar @ 1 in the night. Chennai-Bangalore highway at nights is a must avoid and the NH between Chennai-Trichy, Chennai-Pondy is much better than the Asian Highway…. Photos to come soon….
