Back in our room taking a break (cause Mom (Me) cant barely walk no more LOL). Heres what we have changed about our life since everything changed after we sold our first business. 1.) Whenever we can, we celebrate life. We enjoy the rewards of our hard work and spend time doing fun things together. Sometimes just Richard and me, sometimes with Tabitha, sometimes with the entire clan. But it matters to us to have these forced pauses. 2.) We dont charge ANYTHING. If we can do it, we go, period. If not, we go smaller or we wait. When we lost everything , our credit went with it. Everything we had worked so hard for. We even lost our big beautiful home to foreclosure in 2007. So now, its cash only for us and we never will change that. 3.) I now map out vacations. In fact, I have the Clark County School District calendar out now and am mapping out Disney trips whenever it makes sense. 4.) We appreciate things so much more. There was a time when we took it all for granted. The ability to do what we wanted when we wanted and the funds to do so. Now, we know better. We know that life can change in an insant and what you knew to be true one day, might be gone the next. We are so blessed to have created our lifestyle TWICE. No I dont mean millions of dollars, but I do mean owning businesses that fund a life full of choices and freedom. We just love being able to get up and go whenever we want. How many people have that kind of freedom? Many of you, yes, since my Facebook feed is made up of independent professionals and business owners. But since Richard and I chose to build, we also have amazing teams that handle the clients, so that really allows us to go. I would love to teach more people about this amazing lifestyle. Not everyone will be wiling to go through the sacifice and battle it takes to build and move yourself out of production, but those that are willing, can really have a quality of life that is rare. But when we are home, I work like a machine. I just do a lot of it in my Pajamas :)
