Back in the Day, this was our neighborhood kids favorite show. We had a basement in our house on Rio Verde St. which backs up to the Cow Palace in San Francisco, so we hung blankets on our basement clothesline and had plays...just like the Gang we so loved. Of course, I was Darla. Its one of the truly fun memories of my childhood days. Aunt Faye also took me for tap dancing lessons, probably out of pure self-preservation...I thought I was dancing just like Shirley Temple, but before those lessons...I was giving it a heck of a go at it...especially on her kitchen floor where the tapping was real LOUD. :-)
