Back in the day when super hero movies or mutant movies were a new era of what I call the Film-hood and people used to be shocked/amazed/razzle-dazzled of whatever Bryan Singer of the X-Men series OR Sam Raimi - Spiderman Series Martin Campbell - Zorro Series and Green Lantern Christopher Nolan - Batman Series Tim Story - Fantastic Four Series Mark Steven Johnson - Ghost Rider Series and Daredevil Jon Favreau - Iron Man Series Louis Leterrier - The Hulk Series Joe Johnson - Captain America Series Joss Whedon - The Avengers Tim Burton - Batman (old) Series showed them via Stan Lee. But now, people tend to expect more in terms of action, drama, story and technology. This film was the smartest move by Bryan Singer and the story writers team, Jane Goldman, Simon Kinberg and Matthew Vaughn as they collaborated the futures and pasts of the X-Men in such a way that it has all come to a fresh start now. Bryan can mould his next film the way he wants and can even make a whole new series out of it. The best part, ALL the old characters will be back with a BANG in all of his next movies/series. Even though Ellen Page (as Kitty Pryde), James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart (as Charles Xavier / Professor X) were the most important parts of the film, I think Hugh Jackman (as Logan / Wolverine) and Evan Peters (as Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver) stole the show with their witty characters. The story was brilliant but the X-Men - Days Of The Future Past was missing some action. Lastly, I would never forget to mention about my most favorite character from Game Of Thrones TV series, Peter Dinklage. I was glad that he was in the film. A good add by the casting director. The scientist wouldnt have got much attention if he were played by ANY other actor. 3.5/5.
