Back in the room after a peaceful night of rest at Elaine & Dwane - TopicsExpress

Back in the room after a peaceful night of rest at Elaine & Dwane Andersons house in Ceresco. I found my way easily, but somehow missed the corner this morning and got turned around right in town. It is WAY too small a town to get lost in, so I easily found my way out again. Elaine and Dwane have lovely home. While there last night she mentioned that there is another woman in the Church who has also offered to house me while I am here, and the distance would be much closer to travel each day. I will meet her in the morning at Church. Also, found out that a childhood acquaintance and son of one of my favorite Sunday School teachers from my childhood also attends Capital City Christian Church, and have had a message from him this morning as well. Dont you LOVE the way the Family of God really is that...Family? Wherever you go, there is a connection of some sort. We had a nice visit with Chris and Ginny. They took me to HuHot yesterday for lunch. It was nice to visit and get out of the hospital setting for a bit as well. Tomorrow we company in the form of my aunt and uncle from Holdrege coming. That will be a nice break in the afternoons long monotony. I look forward to being able to head to Church in the morning. The 9:00 service is the traditional service, so hopefully I will feel like I am home. Jim had a good night, had a half an hour physical therapy this morning, and is now watching a movie on TMC. I think it wont be long before he is sound asleep again. Thats ok...I think I will pull out the bed and join him in a bit. Maybe we will sleep the day away. Of course, the nurses and aides never let you sleep too long before they stop in to check on you one way or another. I found the Hobby Lobby with Ginny yesterday, found where I can go to a Target last night, but am amazed that there are only 3 WalMarts in the whole town. Elaine has promised me that there is one near CCCC, and will show me how to find it. My wardrobe may soon prove to be too warm if the weather is like it is today and warmer. When I left, we had snow on the ground, so naturally I packed mostly long sleeves. They like to keep this hospital warm, so my shirts are about to be replaced with summer type clothes instead. Enough rambling....Thanks for prayers and thoughts going up to Heaven on our behalf! We appreciate them!
