Back on the road this week to Louisville! Im grateful to everyone in my life who has helped before during and after my surgery and continued rehab to make my return to comedy first during May to Hawaii and now to Kentucky this week and Louisiana next week. If you want to pray for me you can pray for my sitting on the planes. I dont know what it is about titanium and back nerves but they dont like sitting for more than 10 minutes at a time...good thing thats kind of funny and I can talk about it! Also 2 times I have to stuff Daisy in a little Embraer plane and its always a pain to have the waitress (is that what we call them now?) believe me that the 70 pound yellow lab does not fit anywhere but the bulkhead which we are suppose to have dibs on, which we end up getting in the end anyway, but I always have to be extra polite then stern, then use the PTSD, Federal Government card which says Daisy and I have rights in the air and first dibs to the extra inch in the bulk head. Oh my, I forgot about the stares we will get in the middle states too. Its not their fault, they just arent used to seeing Sandra Bullock having a Service Dog. I get everything from, are you blind? to is the dog blind? I need to start writing it all down and write that book. Daisy so badly wants to illustrate one, this might be her only chance since Steven King doesnt return her calls.
