Back to Guangzhou this morning. It is my first real holiday outside Taiwan since I started working in China in 2006!! Phuket is still a relaxing place, but less interesting than 10 years ago. The city is still not well organised Thai people still speak limited English, but all prices are similar to Taiwan, probably more expensive. The tour to small islands, like Phi Phi is full of people and you can only swim between speed boats, worse than the Karon Beach in front of my hotel. So finally I stay at hotel, having good time at swimming pool and Karon Beach. Once again I am 捨近求遠!
