Back to Save the Universe was always supposed to be a Broken Social Scene-esque band. I dont like to speak ill of the band but certain issues arose with certain members that just made that project a displeasure. That said, the dream never died, it just got sidetracked (for about a year) while I figured things out with other projects like Drunk Punks, Iron on the Moon, The Runovers, FreshFX, Kunwar Singh and more. Watching this video rekindles a lot for me, reminds me of a lot of what drove me these many years in music.
