Back to school…..what??? Can it really be that time again! Yes my friends it is time to start thinking about back to school supplies. Last year with the help of my insured’s and friends we donated over $1500 in student school supplies to the Sturgeon Bay School system. We collected back packs, pencils, crayons, markers, book covers, lunch boxes, and anything else you could find in the school isle at our local stores. We donated them to students that could not afford all the items they needed for a successful school year. I truly believe nothing is more important than a child’s education. If they are going to school without the proper supplies we are setting them up to fail before they even walk in the door. Let’s all work together again this year and double what we collected last year! This year we will divide our collection of supplies between Southern Door School and Sevastopol School. My office is on 2nd and Kentucky Street in Sturgeon Bay. Look for the American Family Insurance flags across the street from the Nautical Inn and Palmer Johnson Yachts. Ready…Set…Go…Lets all start shopping for a successful school year. If you would rather make a cash donation…I will do the shopping for you.
